WHOLE CHILD EDUCATION

Whole Child Education is an approach to teaching and learning that focuses on the development of the whole child - their academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being. It recognizes that children are not just learners of academic subjects but also individuals with unique needs and interests.

It aims to support children in all areas of their development, not just academic achievement. This includes providing opportunities for social and emotional learning, physical activity and health, creative expression, and community involvement.  The approach is based on the belief that when children are supported in all aspects of their development, they are more likely to be engaged in their learning, develop positive relationships with their peers and teachers, and succeed in school and beyond.

Whole Child Education takes a holistic approach to teaching and learning.  It emphasizes the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all learners. It encourages teachers to use various teaching strategies and methods.

Overall, Whole Child Education is about creating a well-rounded education that supports children's growth and development in all areas, not just academic achievement. As a result, children are better prepared to lead healthy, productive, and fulfilling lives by taking a holistic approach to teaching and learning.
